23rd Annual Rocket City Buddy Walk
For its 23rd year, families from across North Alabama will gather at UAH Charger Union for a day packed with heart, fun, and purpose.
Kick off your Saturday with activities that kids will absolutely love—think train rides, bungee trampoline, and all the festival treats (pizza, donuts, ice cream…need I say more?). But more than just a good time, your participation directly helps the Down Syndrome community through Bringing Up Down Syndrome and their incredible work.
Event Highlights:
- When: Saturday, September 27, 2025, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Where: UAH Campus – Charger Union, Huntsville, AL
- Activities: Kids’ train, bungee trampoline, pizza, donuts, ice cream, and lots more
- Cause: Proceeds support Bringing Up Down Syndrome (BUDS)—helping families and building inclusion in our community
The Buddy Walk is more than just an event—it’s a chance for families to come together, show support, and make memories. Whether you’re supporting a loved one, looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday, or want to teach your kids about inclusion and kindness, this walk delivers in every way.
If you make it out, tell me what your favorite part was—every story helps encourage more families to get involved next time!
