Garden Soirée
The Garden Soirée at Huntsville Botanical Garden offers families a chance to enjoy an elegant evening while supporting a wonderful cause. Set under the stars on the garden grounds, this signature fundraising event features craft cocktails, a gourmet dinner prepared by Chef James Boyce of Cotton Row, and a live auction with exciting items up for bid. While adults sip and socialize, the evening's true mission shines through: all proceeds benefit Nature's Playground, the garden's beloved children's area where young explorers connect with the natural world through hands-on discovery and play. The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and mingling, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the program and live auction at 7:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $200, or reserve a table for eight at $2,000. The menu includes a late harvest tomato and peach salad, braised Black Angus beef short ribs with creamy yellow grits, and an espresso chocolate pot de crème for dessert, with vegetarian options available upon request. Located at 4747 Bob Wallace Avenue SW, the garden provides a stunning backdrop for this special occasion. While the soirée itself is designed as an adult evening out, purchasing tickets directly supports programming that benefits children and families throughout the year. If you're looking for a sophisticated date night with purpose, this event lets you invest in the next generation's relationship with nature while enjoying exceptional food and ambiance.
