Starlight Pinball Arcade Presents $5 Fridays!
Tucked inside Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, Starlight Pinball Arcade is where retro gaming enthusiasts meet the next generation of players. Founded by two friends who've spent over 15 years restoring arcade hardware, this studio houses a growing collection of pinball machines from the 1970s through the 1990s—each one meticulously tuned, polished, and brought back to its original glory. It's not just a place to play; it's a living museum where kids can experience the tactile joy of classic arcade games while learning about the craftsmanship behind each machine. Every Friday, the arcade opens its doors for just $5 per person, offering unlimited access to their beautifully maintained lineup. From flashing lights and ringing bells to the satisfying clack of flippers, kids ages 5 and up will find plenty to explore. The owners are always on hand to share tips, explain game mechanics, or tell stories about the machines—making it an educational experience as much as an entertaining one. Sessions run starting at 11:00 AM, giving families a perfect late-morning or early-afternoon activity. For parents, this is a screen-free outing that introduces children to a different era of gaming—one that rewards timing, strategy, and a little friendly competition. Younger kids will enjoy the sensory experience and colorful artwork, while older children and tweens can chase high scores and master specific tables. It's a nostalgic trip for adults and a fresh discovery for kids, all under one roof at Lowe Mill.
