The Bewitching Hour Witches’ Broom Workshop 2
Young witches and warlocks can craft their very own five-foot decorative broom at this Halloween workshop tucked inside Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment. Under the guidance of Studio 116's instructors, participants transform a rustic birch broom into a personalized Halloween decoration using ribbons, florals, feathers, charms, and seasonal embellishments. Whether your family leans toward whimsical, gothic, or classic Halloween style, each broom becomes a unique keepsake that works equally well as porch décor, a costume accessory, or a festive addition to your home throughout October. The workshop takes place on September 26 at 1:00 PM at Elisa Scheuplein's Studio 116 inside Lowe Mill. The $95 fee covers all materials and step-by-step instruction, plus homemade Halloween treats to enjoy while crafting. No previous crafting experience is necessary—the workshop is designed to be accessible and fun for families with children ages 6-14, though younger participants may need a parent's helping hand with some assembly steps. Space is extremely limited with only three seats per session, so this intimate workshop tends to fill quickly. Plan to spend about two hours creating your broom, and consider bringing a large vehicle or making arrangements for transporting your five-foot creation home. The finished broom makes an impressive statement piece for your front porch and doubles as a memorable family project that captures the creative spirit of the season.
