HAS Adopt-on-the-Spot at Woody Anderson Ford

Huntsville Animal Services is bringing adoptable dogs and cats to Woody Anderson Ford for a special on-site adoption event with a patriotic twist. This is a wonderful chance for families to meet shelter pets in a relaxed dealership setting, where friendly HAS staff will be on hand to answer questions and help you find the right fit for your household. Whether you're ready to add a furry friend to the family or just want to introduce your kids to some sweet animals, this event offers a low-pressure way to explore pet adoption while supporting a great cause during National Clear the Shelters Month. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside the Woody Anderson Ford showroom at 2500 Jordan Lane NW. There's no cost to attend, and the dealership will have complimentary snacks available for families while you browse. If you do fall in love with a pet, the adoption can be completed right there on the spot, streamlining the process so your new companion can head home with you the same day. This is a family-friendly outing suitable for kids of all ages, and it's a meaningful way to teach children about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. If you're seriously considering adoption, think about your family's lifestyle and activity level ahead of time, and don't hesitate to ask staff about each animal's temperament and care needs. Even if you're not ready to adopt, stopping by to meet the animals and show your support makes a difference.
