Haunted Mansion Dinner 2026; October 16

Step into Burritt on the Mountain's historic mansion for an evening where Victorian elegance meets playful Halloween fun. The Haunted Mansion Dinner transforms the mountaintop estate into a theatrical dining experience, complete with a creative four-course meal, themed wines, and roaming spirits who might just interrupt your entrée. Families willing to embrace the spooky atmosphere will find this event strikes a nice balance—creepy enough to feel special without being truly frightening for younger guests. The dinner begins at 6 p.m. on October 16, with tickets priced at $90 per person. Your meal includes themed dishes like Slime Green Pea Soup with bat croutons, BBQ and blackberry marinated chicken (or a vegetarian stuffed pumpkin option), and Blood Red Cake for dessert. Wine pairings come with dinner, and brave souls can visit the mansion's tarot card reader or psychic if they're curious about what the future holds. Because seating is limited in the mansion, tickets must be purchased by October 12. While the event welcomes all ages, the price point and sit-down dinner format work best for older children and teens who can appreciate the theatrical elements and handle a multi-course meal. Costumes are encouraged but not required—think more elegant Halloween party than trick-or-treating gear. When purchasing tickets, be sure to indicate if anyone in your party needs the vegetarian entrée option. The combination of Burritt's natural hilltop ambiance and creative theming makes this a memorable way to celebrate the season without the usual haunted house jump scares.
