Haunted Mansion Dinner 2026 ; October 23

Burritt on the Mountain transforms into a delightfully spooky setting for this theatrical dinner experience that balances just the right amount of Halloween atmosphere with genuine culinary appeal. While the theming leans creepy—think mysterious shadows, eerie whispers, and roaming spirits—the evening centers on a quality sit-down meal rather than jump scares, making it accessible for families who enjoy festive Halloween fun without intense frights. Adventurous guests can even visit an on-site psychic or tarot card reader to add an extra layer of mystical entertainment to the evening. The dinner takes place Thursday, October 23, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Burritt's historic mansion overlooking Huntsville. Tickets are $90 per person and include a full coursed meal starting with playfully named appetizers like "Severed Fingers Sausage Rolls," followed by slime green pea soup, a fresh garden salad, BBQ blackberry-marinated chicken (or a stuffed pumpkin vegetarian option), and blood red cake for dessert. The meal comes paired with themed wines for adults. Since this is an intimate seated dinner with limited capacity, tickets must be purchased by October 19—well before the event date. Costumes are welcome but optional, so families can decide their own comfort level with dress-up. The theatrical atmosphere and sophisticated menu make this best suited for older children and teens who can appreciate a longer seated meal and enjoy Halloween ambiance without needing constant action. If you're requesting the vegetarian entrée, be sure to note that when purchasing tickets so the kitchen can prepare accordingly.
