Trail Build: Hickory Cove

Families looking for a meaningful outdoor adventure can help create a piece of Huntsville's trail network at this volunteer trail-building session with Tim Barnack. Be prepared for a moderately challenging day with up to four miles of hiking and over 200 feet of elevation change, so sturdy closed-toe shoes are essential. Bug spray, sunscreen, work gloves, eye protection, and plenty of water are all recommended. Registration is required for each participant, including kids, as everyone needs to complete a waiver (which parents can sign for minors).
