Artsy Tots! Pop Art Pumpkins
Little hands will get busy creating colorful Pop Art-inspired pumpkins at this special Artsy Tots session designed just for toddlers. The program blends storytelling, gentle gallery exploration, and hands-on art-making to introduce your youngest artists to the museum experience in an age-appropriate, playful way. While working on their pumpkin projects, two- and three-year-olds naturally practice important developmental skills like color recognition, fine motor coordination, and hand-eye control—all while having fun with paint and creative expression. The session runs Friday morning at the Huntsville Museum of Art, with two convenient time slots: 10–10:45 am and 11–11:45 am. Classes take place in the Stender Family Interactive Education Galleries, a welcoming space designed for young learners. Registration costs $8 for museum members and $10 for non-members, covering one child and one parent. Additional siblings can join for $4 each. Fees are non-refundable but can be transferred to another Artsy Tots session if your plans change. This October edition is perfect for families looking to celebrate fall while nurturing early creativity. Dress in clothes that can handle a little mess, and come ready for 45 minutes of age-appropriate art exploration. Since Artsy Tots only meets once a month, it's a great way to establish a special Friday tradition with your toddler while introducing them to the rhythms and joys of museum visits.
