Canopy | Public Exhibition
Artist Isbell unveils a new collection of immersive oil paintings in this special one-day exhibition at the Huntsville City Lifestyles Magazine Gallery downtown. The show features large-scale nature-inspired works that invite families to step into lush, contemplative forest scenes rendered in rich color and texture. It's a rare chance to experience original fine art in an intimate gallery setting, and children of all ages are welcome to explore the paintings at their own pace. Some pieces will be available for purchase if a particular work captures your family's imagination. The exhibition runs from 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, October 17, with free admission and no reservation needed. The gallery is located on the second floor at 107 North Side Square, Suite 200, directly above Del Chuco restaurant. Enter through the North Square Street door to the right of Del Chuco's entrance, and note that there's no elevator, so you'll need to take the stairs. Metered street parking is free on weekends, or you can use the Clinton Avenue Garage for additional spots. Plan for a leisurely visit since this is a drop-in event where you can stay as long or as briefly as you like. The gallery's intimate size makes it manageable even with younger children, though the lack of elevator access means strollers aren't practical. If you park in the Clinton Avenue Garage, use the building's alley exit for convenient access back to your car.
